Career Opportunities
Lest ye ever feel trapped in your job -- whatever it is, however long you've been at it -- remember the example set by Pete's doctor.
He was formerly a chemist who worked for a very large cereal manufacturer, and decided to leave the relatively lucrative world of analyzing the kinds of sweetened coating that can be applied to your favorite brand of high-fiber cereal for four years of med school. Now, he's actually only going to be Pete's doctor for another two weeks, as in a fortnight he's going to leave the medical world for a career as a middle-school teacher.
Now that takes guts.
