Pete’s sister has long expressed admiration of our Perler Bead coasters, and we can take a hint.  We were running tragically short on black, hence the creative border colors on this batch.  I also didn’t have any luck finding pre-cut cork coaster backs locally, so I picked some up at Hobby Lobby while visiting my parents during Thanksgiving.

You might notice that this batch is more thematically consistent, as well: they’re all treasure-box items from Super Mario Brothers 3.
