Since the socially inept spinster who knits in a house full of cats has long since entered the realm of cliché, a simple question: how does that work? Because if I even get within five feet of my cats with knitting in my hands, you can see the little mental alarm bells go off: String?! PLAYTIME!!!
Yeah, Ursula has this problem frequently. We usually just get the cats really interested in some other toy to keep them occupied. Or we open the door to our enclosed deck-thingy, which they love to explore.
She does most of her knitting in class or on trips, though.
